Facilitating information exchange in the retail electricity market
Fingrid Datahub is responsible for centralized information exchange services in the retail electricity market. Datahub holds key information on each electricity accounting point and transmits data between electricity market parties.
Our operations and objectives are governed by the Electricity Market Act. In addition to our core responsibility of facilitating information exchange in the retail electricity market, we are responsible for ensuring appropriate information security and for developing our services to support the efficient functioning of the electricity retail market. Our customers are at the heart of our development work, and we provide services for electricity companies, service providers, and electricity consumers alike.

Datahub collects and distributes information on Finland’s electricity accounting points. Fingrid Datahub Oy, a subsidiary of Fingrid Oyj, is responsible for the development and operation of the service.

Daily updated statistics on Datahub system usage, including event volumes and technical errors. Electricity market parties can benchmark their own event volumes against other organizations.
Testing and Certification Service Tepa
Tepa provides an interface for testing and certifying the Datahub compatibility of electricity market parties.
